1. How can I do my part to help Play with Power Sports Ministries?
I think many of you that have read the home page and read the “About Us” section will resonate with this ministry and what we are working to accomplish. There is often a great gap between the positive things that sports can offer to kids on (and especially off the field) and what is happening in the real world out there every day. Prayer and financial support of this ministry are vital to its success, but it is by no means limited to that. This is very much a grass-roots ministry, and we would look forward to meeting you and discussing how you can help promote this ministry within your local baseball league, local church, and local bookstore. We have learned some things from experience that will help you as you reach out to share this with others. We are praying that God will lead us to the right people to help grow this ministry. We currently have friends, family, and associates in TN, GA, NC, SC, TN, WI, AZ, and throughout TX that are doing their part to help grow the ministry. It has been a labor of love and we have met some great people along the way. We hope to meet many more as God leads us down this path in accordance with His will.

Yes. For now, you can send a check to: Play with Power Sports Ministries, 316 Texas Drive, Hideaway, TX 75771. Note that contributions are not tax deductible at this time, but we are currently working on completing the necessary paperwork with the IRS to become a 501(c)3 charitable organization that can accept tax-deductible contributions. Once that occurs (probably in May or June), we expect to add a link to our website to make donating as convenient as possible.

Are you available to speak in person or over the phone with my local league, church, or bookstore about this ministry or share a devotional with my team? Time-permitting, we would love to do so. We have our own family that we are committed to serving as our first priority, but we would love to meet with you and those that you may want to lead us to either face to face or over the phone. This is a grass-roots ministry and we would love to meet as many of you as possible as we work together to share God’s love with those around us.
