Welcome to Play With Power Sports Ministries! We are excited about combining our love for God with our love for sports in this new ministry, which is specifically geared to kids and their families. When Jesus taught, he often used parables and taught about things that His listeners liked and understood. In the same way, we want to relate sports to the Bible and to everyday life in a way that is new, exciting, and fun for kids. These devotionals will give them an incredible opportunity to better understand the love of Christ and how to become a Christian. In addition, kids will also learn more about the Christian-based messages of teamwork, sportsmanship, and having a good attitude. There are so many positive messages and life lessons that can come from playing sports. However, far too often, those lessons are overshadowed by the negative messages that often prevail in sports....winning at all costs, hurtful words, and disrespectful behavior. Play With Power Sports Ministries wants to do everything we can to help change the tone and the momentum within kids, parents, coaches, and league officials to reinforce the many benefits of sports. Here are four key messages we want to convey to young people throughout these lessons: Try your best, and let God do the rest! God always loves you, no matter what! Dream Big! Have Fun!
